Akumanto

Akmant is the muscle of the Three Devil Musketeers, a black mustached villain who likes to flex his biceps. His scorpion-like battle suit was the only armor the Devil Musketeers had until Docdandy and Gestler got some of their own. Akmant ends all his sentences with "Manto".

Personality[]

Akmant is the combatant and sub-leader of the Three Devil Musketeers. He has a tone of voice that ends with "~ (de) Manto" (in the trailer of the manga version, he and Gestler had a normal tone of voice) and a unique way of laughing called "Fuhaha (hoohaha)". His charm points are his beard and shorts. His first person is "Ore" (or, more rarely, "Washi" (episodes 29 and 42)). He has a chivalrous spirit and is a rival to White Bomber. Because he is a combatant, he has fought the most times among the Three Musketeers. He often goes into battle on his own. His dream is to have all the delicious food in the universe for himself. Docdandy and Gestler call him by his first name or the nickname "Ak-chan", but on the contrary, he calls the other two by their first names and rarely by their nicknames.

He specializes in disguises and western swordplay (as seen in episode 8), and is so skilled at disguise that he even imitates the voice of the person he is impersonating, making it impossible to tell that it is him by appearance alone. He can disguise himself not only as a B-Daman, but also as a B-Daron of a certain size, and once disguised himself as Cerberon, the God of Protection, aboard the Devil Blister in order to drive away anyone approaching Mount Hound so as not to interfere with the search for Crismond. However, when he sneaks onto the set of a movie starring the popular idol Heroine Bomber in a Takoron alien costume to steal the "Lucky Necklace Ball" from her, his true identity goes unnoticed and he is unilaterally beaten up by Yellow Bomber, since the plan was backfired.

He's basically a battering ram, but in the Armor Wars, he often fights back against White Bomber and his team of two or four or more by himself, or by attacking them with B-Daroid bullets. He is confident in his power and stamina, and he seems to have trained his fighting skills in the flesh. When he is really angry, he shoots B-Damas all over the place in anger. As the story progresses, however, he becomes more naive and dumb than Docdandy and Gestler.

He wears only a helmet most of the time when he is on, but when he is powered by Genius Bomber, he wears his mail suit with Crismond's power, just like how Docdandy, Yellow Bomber and Green Bomber did. After the appearance of the Devil Hornet and Devil Poseidon, he has also done play-by-play and commentary with Gestler when Docdandy is on a sortie, and with Docdandy when Gestler is on a sortie, both twice each. When the three of them were in play, he provided commentary as a battle critic.

He appears in the Black Brightstar and the new mothership, and when Docdandy and Gestler call for him to go out, he detaches the Devil Armor from the Black Brightstar and goes out.

After the destruction of the Devil Vader, he was forced to join the Borderland Knights in the last episode, but he accepted his situation.

In the manga version, he is the leader of the Devil Three Musketeers, and can emit shockwaves from his arms while wearing a mail suit (this attack allowed him to overpower White Bomber with one hand). Also, just before the final battle, he disguises himself as Black Bomber in order to take Red Bomber hostage, but this disguise is much more crude than in the anime version (he succeeds in his plan to capture Red Bomber).
